Culinary Arts

"My job is my passion - my goal is to unite the craft of cooking with the art of cooking."

Sandra Scheidl

Sandra was born and raised in Tyrol near Kitzbühel. After graduating from HBLW Saalfelden - a college specialized in economics and tourism where also chefs get trained - Sandra moved to Germany to gain first experiences in gastronomy.

In the hotel Intercontinental Berchtesgaden Resort, a 5 star superior hotel, foundations for her career where built.

In order to gain first experiences in fine dining, Sandra went back to Austria to work for Vitus Winkler in his restaurant Vitus Cooking (today "Kräuterreich" accolated with 4 toques by Gault Millau).

2015 Sandra moved to London to work for the culinary legend Michel Roux in his restaurant Roux at Parliament Square in Westminster. The Cuisine was described as Classic French with influences from the English Modern Cuisine.

Later she moved within London to the restaurant Story, which is owned by one of the most polarizing chefs in England, Tom Sellers. The restaurant is accolated with 2 Michelin stars and characterized by Nordic Cuisine paired with English produce.

Back home in 2017, Sandra started as head pastry chef of Simon Taxacher in his restaurant Simon Taxacher (5 toques by Gault Millau) where she later became Sous Chef. As Sandra was offered a position in the 3 Michelin star and "world's 50 best restaurants" restaurant Maaemo, she accepted and moved 2019 to Oslo, Norway.

The Nordic cuisine, the purismn and the devotion to high quality was learnt over the years and is now part of Sandras philosophy.

End of 2020 Sandra decided to end the time in Norway in order to work on her own projects back home in Austria.

After the qualification 2020, Sandra won 2021 the renowned cooking competition "Junge Wilde" by Rolling Pin.

With the goal to combine cuisine and arts, there will be several events where you can enjoy the connection.

Apart from several public events, there is also the possiblity now to book your own exclusiv dining experience.
